Sloan's Lake is a park loop wrapped in dense residential blocks, and the two behave very differently. Sheridan and 17th carry real traffic, while the streets inside the neighborhood are narrow with cars parked both sides, so there is often no room to set up on the driver's side. We regularly work the park perimeter lots where people leave a car all afternoon and come back to a dead battery. Summer weekends around Dragon Boat and the lake path fill every legal space, so tell dispatch which corner of the lake you're on.
